I am using Netscape 4.x or lower, why am I still getting the blank screen with no charts showing?

Your Internet connection could be connected from behind the firewall or proxy. We suggest you consider consulting your network administrator for further advice. We have found that the following steps will make Tradetreks IntelliChart work under proxy settings:
- Close Netscape if it is currently running.
- Launch a text editor such as Notepad or Word Pad.
- Select Open from the File menu drop-down.
- At the bottom of the dialog box, change the "Files of Type" selection to "*All files" or "*All
documents".
- Using the directory tree, locate the file called "prefs.js" usually located in your C drive under
ProgramFiles\Netscape\users\username.
- Select the file and open it.
- Scroll to the bottom and type (exactly) the following:
user_pref("security.lower_java_network_security_by_trusting_proxies", true);
- Click Save. This automatically overwrites the old file.
- Launch Netscape.
