Q20: What is Time & Sale

A: The Time & Sale table lists each trade of the current or previous market session for the stock specified. To access this function, type in a ticker symbol in the Symbol Box and click on the "Time & Sale" button on the ticker-based toolbar. The table shown will then display each trade with the following information: time of the trade, price, volume, bid/ask prices and sizes, and the cumulative volume at the time of sale. In addition, the last column of the table indicates if the trade is a block trade.

This function is available to subscribers of Silver and Gold Service Packages only. For Gold Package subscribers, the information displayed is in real-time; Silver Package subscribers get the standard 15 to 20 minute data delay. To sign up for the Silver or Gold Packages, please click here.
