Q10: What is Neural Network Forecast? Why does it seem to change from time to time?
A:
Tradetrek has developed a sophisticated artificial neural network stock prediction
engine. Our computers simulate the functionality of the human neural network by
learning from past experience and drawing conclusions and making predictions for the
future. When stock prices from the past 500 days are fed into our Neural Network
system, it “learns” the stock's behavior patterns, then predicts the most probable
stock price movements for the next 5 days. The program also provides an upper and
lower banding that define an 80% probability range that the stock price in the next
5 days should be between the bands.
Our systems run overnight to assimilate the data from the previous market session
and prepare real-time predictions for the day. They come up with a set of new
predictions for each stock every day, so it is normal to find that some predictions
change markedly from the previous day-- crucial information to keep abreast of!
During market hours, the system continually makes incremental modifications to these
predictions, reflecting the latest price changes; these modifications are minor and
the shape of the prediction chart should not differ much from that at the market
opening.
