Tradetrek, an online provider of stock analysis tools and trading strategies, is considering building partnerships with financial Web sites to promote its recently launched educational trading tool, dubbed Money Trek. The service is designed to help investors and traders improve chart reading and trading skills. Frank Ma, chief marketing officer and cfo, said that Tradetrek (www.tradetrek.com) is seeking to align with financial Web sites that generate high volume, as a way to reach the financial community with its product offerings... He added that the firm is currently looking at partnerships with some brokerage sites, but would not be more specific. "We are talking to various players in this space and are negotiating some offers," Ma said...
Money Trek enables investors to simulate trading scenarios. Ma said that through this feature, online investors are able to replay the market and are challenged to test analysis and chart reading skills. Money Trek also compiles statistics on investors' practice sessions of paper trading activities. This allows investors to build a track record to see how the practice session compares with the market and other players.
